PLYMOUTH WISCONSIN & CHICAGO PHOTO ALBUM EARLY 1900s. BICYCLE TEAM, CIRCUS +
Item #938
11.25” x 13.75” early 1900s photo album with eighty-seven photos. They mostly measure about 3.75” x 4.75” with two smaller images. The album looks to have been put together by Marguerite Bade, who was born at a home on Caroline Street in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Many but not all photos are annotated, and the album is mostly from Plymouth, with a few photos from a parade in Chicago, including four photos of the Barnum and Bailey Circus. Other photos include some from the Hook and Ladder bicycle team, Sheboygan County Fair, trains, storm damage, a first car, farming, family photos and scenery. There are also five commercial photos of art. I noticed a few of the same photo in the album, around a handful. The photos slide into slots, four to each page. Eight photos are missing. The images are gorgeous!
