1950 PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS NYC NOTEBOOK and PHOTOS ALBUM

Item #931

7.5" x 9.75" Composition book with 101 pages used by Louis Nardello who took Mrs. Scottow's Photography class in E.R. 1512 at NYSP in Brooklyn, New York. There are many pages of notes and diagrams on photography along with 18 photos of various sizes, including a photo of his class dated 1950, the NYSP building in Brooklyn, several photos from a baseball stadium showing different exposures, cameras, three "sunlight pictures" which have faded to nothing, etc. He notes the chemicals used, how to fix a photo, how to color a photo, different cameras, including the Rolleiflex and Graflex, and pretty much anything you would want to know in 1950 to make a good photo. About two thirds of the album are used and it appears to be complete. A lovely look at photography in the mid 20th century.

Price: $350.00
