Written inside the front cover is “Round the World, 1932.” Most photos are identified as to place, though the travelers are not identified. This album provides a view of the people and places of the world nearly a century ago. Flip through these pages and you will find street scenes, piers, harbors, markets, and landscapes which have changed with time.

The photographers sights were set on the spectacular architecture and gardens of Shanghai, China; a Buddhist monastery in the Mandalay region of Myanmar, the tea cultivation and market in Darjeeling, the Taj Mahal and sacred animals of India; and many more during this trip around the world.

Other notable locations include: Hong Kong, Singapore, Kobe, New York, the Canadian Rockies, Hawaii, Japan, Burma, Delhi, Penang, Malaysia, Paris, Florence, etc. There are also photos from onboard different ships.
