3.5" x 5.25" lovely little drawing of two people in sweaters passing a book between them and knitting. On the back is her little letter in lovely penmanship and learning-English vernacular: "Very dear parents, I ben pleased you a little letter in English whrite. How do you do? I hope that you verry wel are. I have employ the dictionary in the cupboard of papa was. Affectionate kiss of your little girl, Gilberte". It is dated Wednesday the 19 July, 1939.
