Presentation photo album of the E. E. White Coal Company in West Virginia, from December, 1918.

Page 1 is blank; pages 2 thru 5 have pasted-in plates (approx. 4” x 5”) listing the board and officers of the company, with a dedication page. Each subsequent page contains two small sepia-toned photos (1 11/12” x 2 7/8”), every photo is carefully captioned. Most of the photos are landscape in orientation, with a few portraits - most of which are of the members of the board. Overleaves are blank. 79 photos in total - the last page only contains one photo “A Portion of Colored Town - Stotesbury”.

Pictured are the tiny town of Glen White, southern West Virginia, and the nearby company town of Stotesbury (long the home of Senate majority leader Robert C. Byrd.) Both are in Raleigh County.

Also included is the opening page of the ‘Report of the Board of Directors of the E.E. White Coal Company of Glen White, W. Va. To The Stockholders for the year ending December 31, 1924’ - plus one subsequent page (in triplicate
