8” x 12.25” photo album with a cover showing a soldier in combat and says, “USA Service Memories.” There are 26 photos inside, including fifteen of actress Jane Wyman, and Edgar Bergen with his puppets Charlie McCarthy (dressed as a Marine in a few pics) and Mortimer Snerd visiting wounded Marines. The dealer I bought this from told me that is from Camp Pendleton California hospital in 1952, though I don’t see that date or identification inside. The other photos show another group of unidentified actors, and photos of the men in action and at rest.

Also included is a paper and cardboard Charlie McCarthy puppet that moves, though needs some restoration.

All of the pages meant for photos are used, with one photo per page. Two photos are loose. There is no indication of who this belonged to.
