MICHIGAN FAMILY PHOTO ALBUM 1915-1922

7.5” x 11.5” photo album with around 300 snapshots from a Michigan family which dates from 1915 to 1922. Many of the photos have handwriting along the bottom border identifying them. Places include the Washington Blvd frozen fountain in Detroit, Lake St. Clair (where they had a summer home), Flint (including farms), Belle Isle, Detroit Fair Grounds, Walker School, photos taken from the Boston Store roof, Lansing, etc. There are also some photos from Chicago as well, including Jackson Park and across from the Midway. The photographer had a good eye, with some artistic shots and even a few amusing double exposures.

The photos all measure about 2.5” x 4.25” and are held to the page with corner tabs. One page in the middle of the album is unused, otherwise it is complete with some lovely images.
