A BOY'S FIRST ATTEMPT AT TAKING SNAPSHOTS - PHOTO ALBUM 1930s

Item #770

Sweet photo album kept by a boy named Frank Rush in the 1930s. Written on the first page is “An album of photographs that I actually took and developed and mounted and labeled – Frank Rush.” The album measures 7” x 10” and the photos are various sizes and are held to the page with corner tabs. There are about 95 photos in total, with five loose, two missing from the page and a few loose negatives. There are shots of his friends, family, summer camp, parades and even one of black woman named Stella, who I imagine worked in his home. It appears that he didn’t fix the negatives well, as the photos are not in the greatest of condition, but the love that went into this album is obvious.

Price: $175.00
