9.75” x 12” photo album of the Bryanston School Dramatic Society, which is a boarding school in the UK. The album shows different productions put on in the 1930s. There are 48 photos in the album, along with several programs, and about 20 photos that were never attached. The shows include The Pillars of Society by Henrik Ibsen, Dear Brutus by J.M. Barrie, Saint Joan by G. Bernard Shaw, The Cherry Orchard by Anton Tchekov, etc. The photos in the album show some boys in girl’s roles, though some of the loose photos show some gals. There are also a few photos of behind the scenes and one large photo of men in class. Photos are glued to the page and vary in size from around 4.5” x 6.5” to 7.5” x 9.” There is some silvering to the edges of some of the photos, otherwise the album is complete and in good condition.
