SPANISH HARLEM NYC PHOTO ALBUM EARLY 1970s

Item #752

10 x 10.25” album with a plush plastic cover featuring an illustrated atlas of the world on the covers. Taped to the front cover is a piece of paper which reads: “A Picture Study of Spanish New York - the life and environment by Thomas Holzer + Kevin McNamara.” As this title suggests, the album contains 29 black-and-white photos from New York City, with a focus on shops and advertisements in Spanish, from the early 1970s. There are some gorgeous, crisp street views. Some of the shops featured include La Salle Letter Co., Botanica San Judas, Coribe Record Shop, and Aguilera Record Shop. One photo shows one of the twin towers in the distance. Photos measure between 3.25 x 4.75” and 7 x 5” and are held to the pages with corner tabs. There are no annotations. Translucent spiderweb-patterned sheets are between each page. The album is not completely filled.

Price: $495.00
