Early 1900s collection of eleven mounted photos, identified as being from the Sunrise Mine and Mill in Wyoming. The photos include the lab, mill, boarding house, miner cabin, assayer's office, etc. A few more detailed annotations include "View of the south slope of Sunrise Mt. from well up on Henderson. Showing the summer house and the tramway for carrying the ore to the mill," "Henderson Mt. on right, Sunrise Mt. on the left. Mts at the head of Gird Creek in the distance."
Ten of the photos measure about 5" x 5.75," and one measures 4" x 5." The have some spotting and edge wear as seen in the scans. One photo is not identified.
Sunrise was a company mining town of the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company located in Platte County, Wyoming.
