Winnipesaukee NH Ski Club album1935-1943 Photo Album
10 x 7” brown string-bound album with “Photographs” on the front cover in gold and an embossed design. Contains around 96 black and white photos from the Winnipesaukee Ski Club in New Hampshire from 1935 to 1943. The first page indicates that at least one of the photos was taken by a “Doc Piper”. The group pictured throughout the album seems to have loved going on ski trips, as there are many photos of men and women enjoying their time in the snow in Waterville Valley. However, they also had fun on fishing trips to Prince Pond and are even shown in Bermuda. Photos measure between 1.75 x 1.75” and 6.75 x 4.75” and are glued to the pages, accompanied by handwritten annotations. One photo appears to be missing.
