Item #658
5.5" x 8.5" photo album with over fifty snapshots of various photos glued to the page. Written on the inside cover is "School Days," and the album appears to have been put together by a female student. This well annotated album is a record of time spent at Shurtleff College in Alton, Illinois in the early 1910s. Photos shows various cottage dormitories, males friends, parties, "Japanese evening," a burned dorm aftermath, sports teams, campus scenes, etc. The front cover is detached and one photo may be missing from the inside cover, otherwise it is a lovely record of a Co-ed college experience in the 1910s.
