This fascinating album measures 7.25 x 12.25” and is beige with a reptile pattern on the covers. This circa 1960s album has around 130 stunning black and white photos of what appears to be the daily life of people in Tunisia, which can be inferred based on part of a flag glimpsed in one of the photos. The photos are very crisp and clear and the photographer clearly had a good eye and seemingly a relationship with his subjects. The photographer seemed especially concerned with the lives of everyday people in the country, with simple yet moving photos of mothers, children, street vendors, markets, and possibly guards from Tunisia. Photos measure between 3 x 3” and 5 x 3.5” and are not annotated. The photos are housed in plastic sleeve pages which fold out. About half of the album is unused.
