7.75 x 5.5” small brown suede photo album from circa 1910, with an illustration of a teepee on the front cover. The first page of the album reads “Fort Bayard, New Mexico” and what follows are 45 black and white photos. The first couple of photos show the nurses quarters and dining room. There are some a few other photos of nurses, while the rest are of women and some men in uniform, with some charming photos of a horse carrel and women riding horses. There are also photos of Twin Sisters Peaks. Photographs measure between 3.75 x 5” and 6.75 x 4.75” and are glued to the pages, with some photos accompanied by brief annotations. There are 2 loose photos and a couple of blank pages.
