11" x 7.25” photo album from the 1920s/1930s, which is missing its front cover. Contains over 40 black and white photos of people enjoying time at the Rockport Coast Guard Station and Straitsmouth Inn in Rockport, Massachusetts. Most of the photos are of men and women at the beach, including two photos of men showing off their impressive arm strength to all those gathered around. Photographs measure between 2.75 x 4.5” and 4.5 x 2.75” and are glued to the pages, accompanied by detailed and amusing annotations about the people and activities pictured. Two photos are loose and some pages in the back have been torn out.
