Item #592

11 x 7.5” worn black leather, string-bound album with “Crescent Portland Cement Co.” on the cover. This interesting album contains 24 black and white photos from 1910 of buildings that used Crescent cement in their construction. Most of the buildings were in Ohio, but there are also a couple from New York and Pennsylvania. Buildings include the Second National Bank in Akron, Ohio, Goodrich Rubber Co. building, Alkali Rubber Co., American Railway car barns, the Edmund Ave. viaduct by the New York Central Railway in Buffalo, N.Y., a sewage disposal plant, and Larkin Company building. Photographs measure between 8.25 x 7.5” and 10 x 7.5” and are linen backed. Many of the photos are annotated on the pictures themselves, identifying places and how much Crescent concrete was used in construction. A few photos credit the photographer as "Pecks Studio, Akron,"

Price: $395.00
