A group of over sixty-five 5"x7" photos showing construction of aqueducts and tunnels in Massachusetts. I believe that this was the beginning of the construction of the water system from the Quabbin to Boston for their drinking water, and each photo is identified within the negative, though there is no mention of the Quabbin. The photos are all dated from the second half of 1939 and most look to be credited to the photographer Troland. A few are linen backed, there are a couple of duplicates and some have light corner bends or stains. An interesting collection that needs more research.
