8.75" x 11.5" handmade school report entitled "Negroes Who Fought in the Civil War." It was written by Deborah Dumont Sabelli in 1964. There are 20 handwritten pages in total, with chapters on the negro soldiers in both the Union and Confederate Army and a Bibliography. There are also seven illustrations including a few snapshots of photos of black soldiers. Some images are held with corner tabs and others were taped onto the page, where several are missing or are loose.
