1929 MID-WEST TRAVEL PHOTO ALBUM WORKING ON TREES

There are about 175 snapshots in this 7” x 11” photo album kept by V. Leslie Hebert in 1929/1930. Written on the first page is “Traveling and working with the Davey Tree Expert Co,” and there is a also a sticker for the tree company, which was located in Kent, Ohio. A quick search of Hebert, finds that he was a “Tree Historian.” Another search of the Davey Tree expert co., shows that they are still in business. The album shows views of different places visited, with some tree work as well. The photos are annotated and show places including Kent, Memphis, Tennessee, Chicago, Mississippi River, Winona, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Geneva, NY, Rochester, NY, etc. About 15 photos were previously removed, otherwise the album is in good condition and tells an interesting story.
