There are a total of about 120 photos in this complete album which shows summer camp Anawan for Girls, which was located on Lake Winnipeasukee in Meredith, NH. It dates to 1914, one year after this camp opened. The photos are various sizes, from smallish 2" x 3" to full page photos in this 5.5" x 8" album. There are many stunning images inside, including one of two girls with Brownie cameras in a canoe. There are lots of photos of activities at the camp, including water sports, horseback riding, archery, and basketball, and what appears to be acting in plays. There are about 90 photos attached to pages in the album and another 30 that are loose. They include some real photo postcards. Some of the photos have handwritten identifications along the bottom borders of the photos, including some names. A lovely photo album of affectionate young women.
