11.5" x 15.25" photo album with 135 photos on sixteen numbered pages. This wonderfully organized album is annotated and starts with a group of photos identified as "Edgemere, NY, Department of Parks, 1939." Next is the New York World's Fair with over 60 snapshots, and then onto photos of Romantic Life Magazine, which features topless models. We end with the family and baby photos from 1940 and some snaps from the Jersey Shore on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. I believe that this album belonged to John J. Vanilis, as one photo is identified as him, and there are several other photobooth photos of him. A few photos are faded and one appears to be missing. A lovely put-together album.
