Charming, handmade photo album of fifteen pages with one cyanotype per page. Written on the cover is "Snapshots of Newark" with a photo of a building, that is partially identified as "Asylum," which I believe is in Newark, New York. All of the photos have gilded hand-drawn decorations on each page and most of the photos have a caption including Main St., Library, Spook House, Our Church, Our Folks, 9 Grant Street, etc. The album is string-bound and the front cover is detached with chips, and a few of the pages have corner chips. A delightful look at life at the turn of the last century.
