Circa 1880s 8" x 12.5" albumen photo mounted on 10.5" x 13.5 board. Written along the borders is "Side view of the Pabellon Silver Mine, near Santa Rosa, Coahuila, Mex. The main shaft is located about midway of and under the long building, the pile of the stones is the ruins of the one of the rude furnaces used by the old miners for smelting, and nearby is the bellows for blast."

The photo is faded with some marks to the image as seen in the scans.
