10.5" x 16" Police Blotter from the 35th Precinct in New York City, with 600 pages, which was used from August 10, 1918 to October 7, 1918. Pasted inside the front cover it says “This Blotter was opened at 12 am, August 10, 1918, and contains consecutively numbered pages from 1 to 600.” Signed Richard O’Conner, Commanding officer. 586 pages have been used and show information including: roll call, alien enemies, motorcycle patrols, dogs shot, reckless driving, speeding, serving summons, nude boys swimming, etc. The outer spine is missing and there is rubbing to the edges. An interesting look at a New York City Police station during World War I.
