10.5” x 15.5” photo album with over 120 albumen photos. The first photo shows a group of two women and four men on the deck of a ship. The following two photos show a masted yacht, identified as the Sultana, and in the back of the album is a menu from 1892 from the same ship. This group explored various different countries including Portugal, Spain, Tunis, Italy, Alger, Greece, Turkey and Norway. There are wonderful photos of Arab women, some labeled as Mauresque Chez Elle (or various versions of the name), Pompeii, Alhambra in Granada, Lisbon, Cintra, etc. Several of the 12 photos from Norway are credited to Axel Lindahl, and one photo of an Arab woman is credited to Garrigues. Some photos appear to be Royalty, but I can't identify them. There are several pages in the back that are unused and then a few photos in the back, including some smaller photos showing artwork of a bullfight. About 55 of the photos are larger sized and the rest are smaller sized, from 4 to a page or 2 to a page. One photo of Greece is unmounted and has a tear. Otherwise, the album and photos are in good condition.
