TRAVEL THROUGH MEXICO 1966 POLAROID SNAPSHOTS FLIP-IT PHOTO ALBUM
Item #1334
Well-documented American’s trip along their “Mexican Caravan”, January-February 1966. Forty-six 4 1/4” x 3 1/2” polaroids. The album is slender, measuring 5 1/2” x 11 1/2”.
Upon opening the album, with the assistance of green arrows on the lefthand side, handwritten script identifies the location of the images on the righthand side, for instance: “Our trailer… Guaymas Mex.”, “Hermosillo Museum”, “El Capitan Trailer Park”, “Le Fuerte east of Las Maches”, and so on.
The photographs themselves tell stories of monuments, and parking lots, trailer parks, museums, street scenes, beautiful views, and beaches. The photographs are both in black and white and color. Luckily, the photographs of the Floating Gardens are in color, in full display! As are some photographs of the deep blue ocean.
This is the account of a retired couple on their hitched ride through Mexico in 1966. The couple is photographed together in the final image. In good overall condition.
Price: $250.00
