9" x 12.5" cardboard covers with 39 leaves containing handwritten music. "Hirsh"is written in pencil on the inside cover, and written at the top of the inside back cover is "Synagogen Gesange fur R. Hirsh, 23 Aug, 1862."

I'm assuming this is music for the Synagogue, but I am uncertain if this applies to all the music here.

The pages and covers are mostly unbound. There is evidence of old tape on both overs. Two leaves in the middle of the album are unused.

In rough shape, but interesting nonetheless.
