7.25" X 10.5" photo album with dates from the early 1900s to around 1910. There are over 450 photos from a family in eastern Massachusetts and towns mentioned include Ipswich, Revere, Marblehead, Newburyport, Gloucester, Annisquam, Charlestown, Chelsea and Rockport. Photos capture family moments and lots of silly antics. Group photos, beach scenes, portraits, outings to rivers and the woods. The first part is annotated and shows ships, a yacht club, wharfs, waterways, etc. There are identified photos of important buildings and town fixtures, the family house, schools, navy yard, the aftermath of the 1906 Chelsea fire, etc. A few pages are detached and two photos are missing from the page. A lovely album.
