7” x 10” photo album with twenty, mostly 3.5” x 5.75” photos of National Parks, out west. A label on the cover says “Arizona, Utah, Wyo., 1938, Take by Chesebro’s.” There are photos from the Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Lions Park, Bryce National Park, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton National Park.
Each photo is identified in white writing, which almost makes each page a work of art. One of the photos with people is identified as “In the camp at Bryce National Park, Utah, August 11th, 1938 – Left to right: Mr. and Mrs. Sternberger, Ethyl Chesebro and Dr. Lawrence M Gould, Geologist and second in command of Byrd’s First Antarctic Expedition.”
There is one photo postcard from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which is signed by Harry & Ethyl (Chesebro).
The album is complete and in good condition.
